Eric Brakey Interviews Sgt. Dan McKnight – Free America Now! – powered by

Eric Brakey is one of the closest allies our organization has, and one of the best figures in our movement when it comes to championing liberty in communities across the country.

As a state senator in his native Maine and now as senior spokesman at Young Americans for Liberty, Eric has been integral at fighting for the rights of states and reasserting the U.S. Constitution—including over war powers.

Eric invited me on his podcast, Free America Now, to discuss the latest news about “Defend the Guard.” He’s been a longtime supporter of our keystone legislation, which would prohibit the deployment of a state’s National Guard units into active combat without a formal declaration of war by Congress.

We swap stories, talk about highlights from our fights with the Party this past year, and announce new plans going forward as we hit the ground running for 2022.

You must not miss this!

For more content like this, become a member of the Ten Seven Club. It’s our official supporters’ group, named after October 7, 2001 when my brothers and sisters first hit the ground in Afghanistan.

Membership is as little as $10 a month, but we’re always looking for people who can go the extra mile for our veterans and give just a few dollars more.

When you join the Ten Seven Club you’ll automatically receive rewards like stickers and an embroidered patch with our logo—along with a personal thank you note from me.

And you’ll be included in all of our gun raffles, like the Springfield Armory Saint Victor AR-15 rifle we gave away for Christmas. You could be eligible to win weapons like that along with body armor, communications gear, and other rewards when you become a reoccurring member.

Check out Eric and I’s conversation and share it with your friends and family. Even if you don’t have extra cash to become a Ten Seven Club member, spreading the message is always free and always appreciated.
